Bahn Prostate Foundation

Bahn prostate foundation was established in November 2003 by Dr. Duke Bahn with support from Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California.

The objectives of the foundation are prostate cancer public awareness, education, patient empowerment and research.

The main focus of research is to develop minimally invasive treatment options for effective cancer control and preservation of the quality of life.

Currently, focal therapy rather than whole gland removal or destruction is undergoing a close evaluation. Cancer immune therapy is being investigated as an FDA approved trial.

This foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and research purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of IRS code of 1986.

The foundation is operational purely base on donations, mainly from patients and their families as well as foundations such as PAACT (Patient Advocates for Advanced Cancer Treatment) and Santa Barbara Foundation. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated. (Tax ID: 32-0100105)
