Dear Respected Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce some exciting changes at the Prostate Institute of America.
I will be retiring from the medical practice effective December 31, 2020. My final day to see patients in the office will be December 19.
I enjoyed my years of service to the patients and this community. It was only possible due to the tremendous support I have received from the leadership at CMHS including all of you.
For the past several months, I have welcomed diagnostic/interventional radiologists Benjamin Johnson M.D. and Jamil Muasher M.D. into the Prostate Institute of America, and they will be taking over my practice following my retirement. Drs. Johnson and Muasher have extensive expertise in both the imaging and treatment of prostate disease and are ideally suited to continue the services I have provided and more. They have been working with me since the beginning of the year and it has been my pleasure to share my experience with them. I am confident that the Institute is being left in capable hands. Although I am retiring, I will remain available to consult with Drs. Johnson and Muasher should the need arise.
I also made the decision to dissolve my prostate cancer research foundation and roll the funds into the CMH foundation. I hope it helps our younger generation physicians to participate in medical research.
Again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
Duke K. Bahn M.D.
